The likes of Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Walker, Simpson and Robinson all took time out to answer incoming calls and phone those who haven't renewed in 2012.
Andrew Walker, who leads the players' tally with six new members in half an hour, said he and his teammates enjoyed hearing from Blues fans today and hopes a personal chat might encourage those who haven't signed to get on board.

"Today was great. I spoke to some really nice people on the phone and managed to sign a few new members," Walker said.
"Anything that we as a playing group can do to help the Club reach 50,000 members is worthwhile."
The drive continues tomorrow (Thursday, 17 May) and everyone who becomes a 2012 member goes into the running to win a poster signed by the a number of Carlton's stars.
