Thankfully it is school holidays in Victoria... because if it wasn’t, there would be a lot of classes down in numbers with hundreds of children at Visy Park for the Carlton training session this morning.

The children, and parents, were on hand to see the Carlton players final training preparations for tomorrow night’s match against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

Most eyes were on Marc Murphy who completed the session in his bid to return to action after missing seven matches with a shoulder injury. While the team is set to be announced later today, there was little doubt among the supporters as to whether he would be in action tomorrow night.

“He looks fine, he’ll play,” was the common response from supporters when asked if they thought Carlton’s number 3 would return tomorrow night.

As well as seeing the players train supporters also enjoyed a sausage sizzle before the players went over to meet fans and sign autographs at the end of the session.
