The Carlton Football Club will not be appealing last night’s tribunal decision that will see Chris Judd miss 4 matches.

“We have discussed this matter with Chris and have decided not to appeal,” said General Manager Football Operations, Andrew McKay.

“While Chris and the Club are disappointed, we respect the process and do not believe there are any suitable grounds for an appeal. Chris has apologised for the incident and throughout the lengthy process has continued to display the outstanding qualities that make him a wonderful leader and an outstanding player of the Carlton Football Club.

“We look forward to everyone now focusing on our important match against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night,” McKay added.
