Carlton Captain Marc Murphy today resumed training in a bid to be ready for the Blues’ Round 15 match against Collingwood at the MCG.

Murphy fractured his cheekbone during the first quarter of the Round 12 loss to Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium. He was operated on little over a week ago, and had a metal plate inserted into his cheek.

Murphy will be evaluated over the course of the next seven days to determine his availability for next Friday night’s game.

The good news continues with Andrew Carrazzo and Mitch Robinson both available for selection this week.
