It was an evening for the ladies at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night, with the Women of Carlton holding their second match-day function for 2013.
More than 40 ladies and their guests turned out to watch the Blues clash with Fremantle from the comfort of the Arena View Private Dining Room.
The menu was a mix of traditional football fare and high-tea, with guests enjoying pre-dinner canapés, party pies, and scones with jam and cream.
Lachie Henderson's mum Vonnie and Jarrad Waite's mum Chris were among the special guests, along with actor Graeme Blundell, aka Alvin Purple.
The Women of Carlton would like to thank Anne Ali for her assistance, Leanne Tyrell for donating some wonderful raffle prizes, and Vonnie Henderson for her assistance and for donating two beautiful handmade jewellery pieces to use as door prizes.
The next Women of Carlton function is “Dinner with the Boys – Jarrad Waite and Shaun Hampson,” being held on Wednesday 21 August at Visy Park.
