Sam Rowe and Heath Scotland have been named in Carlton’s starting 18 for Saturday night’s match with St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
They replace Jarrad Waite, who suffered bone bruising to his left knee in the opening quarter of last Friday night’s match with Collingwood, and the omitted Levi Casboult.
Rowe, the second-year Carlton draftee, last played in the 12th round match against Hawthorn. He has been named at full forward, having won a recall for a creditable showing at full-back on Joe Daniher in last Sunday’s Northern Blues-Essendon match at Windy Hill.
Scotland, the club’s 202-game player and reigning John Nicholls Medallist, returns after a one-week lay-off with a slight strain of the abductor muscle. He has been named alongside Rowe in a pocket.
