Carlton Assistant Coach Rob Wiley has praised the Blues comeback in Saturday’s clash with the Lions at the Gabba.
After the Blues got off to a flying start, Brisbane fought back, to put the Lions in front at the half time break.
Wiley has told SEN, it’s a real credit to the team to have come from behind.
“We certainly made it hard for ourselves with our shots on goal, but in the end I think we thoroughly deserved our victory.”
Wiley has praised the work of forward Jarrad Waite, who finished the match with three goals and 12 marks.
While he says Jaryd Cachia has seized the opportunity after being redrafted, with an outstanding job against Brisbane's Brent Moloney.
"He really has done a fantastic job. I think there really is a big future there for Jaryd. He really does want to get the best out of himself."
