OVERVIEW
Drafted with pick 35 in the 2012 National Draft, Temay spent 2013 learning his craft in the VFL. Identified as a small defender with the capacity to run through the midfield, Temay also spent time up forward this year where his defensive pressure stood out. With another pre-season spent bulking up in the gym, Temay will look to push for senior selection in season 2014.

THEY SAID IT
"They’re not as physically capable at the moment but they’re looking good, and come March-April they could be a chance like everyone else.” – Assistant Coach Gavin Brown on the new draftees, including Tom Temay, during the pre-season.
SEASON HIGHLIGHT
Temay’s first match for the Northern Blues was his most prolific in terms of possessions, with the youngster gathering 22-possessions and kicking a goal in the Blues’15-point win over Werribee in Round 1.
