Scans have revealed that Bryce Gibbs has suffered a low-grade hamstring strain and will miss this week's Round 6 match against Melbourne.
He will be assessed next week on his availability for Round 7.
“Bryce felt some tightness in his hamstring late in the 2nd quarter, as a precaution we substituted him out of the game at half time,” General Manager of Football Andrew McKay said.
“By missing this week's game and then having an extended eight day break, we will evaluate how Bryce recovers and reassess next week his availability for the Round 7 Monday night match.”
Carltonfc.com.au will feature a full Club injury update tomorrow.
