One of football’s great rivalries will be reignited on Friday night, when Carlton takes on Essendon at the MCG.

The clash marks the 140th anniversary since the two sides first met, back on June 7 1873.

Carlton will be hoping to regain key players from injury, including Kane Lucas, Rob Warnock and Chris Judd.

The match also marks Heath Scotland’s 200th game for Carlton, which means the Blues veteran will have his image added to the corridor of champions at Visy Park.

Meanwhile time is running out to make the most of Carlton’s 3-game blockbuster membership.
