Carlton's Plays of the Day from the Round 6 win over West Coast have been selected by assistant coach John Barker. 

First up is Marc Murphy's sensational goal midway through the second quarter. 

The skipper collects a handball from Dale Thomas, before dodging and weaving past his opponents and into the goal-square where he boots through a major. 

Next, Dale Thomas is in the thick of the action again – this time for an epic smother in the dying minutes of the game.

In a match-saving move Thomas threw himself over the ball after a kick from Eagle Sharrod Wellingham. 

Finally, the captain takes the ball down the boundary before kicking it to young gun Troy Menzel who breaks the deadlock to put the Blues in front.
