Carlton Injury Update
Carlton vice-captain Andrew Carrazzo is set to return from injury this weekend – the only question is where.
Carrazzo has been sidelined since sustaining a calf injury in the preseason.
Carlton's Football Operations Manager Andrew McKay says it's still unclear if Carrazzo will return through the VFL or slot straight into the senior side.
"Andrew's been out for a little while," McKay said. "He's available and he's been training the house down, so it's great to have him back."
There's good news also for Dennis Armfield, Sam Docherty and Irish recruit Ciaran Byrne.
All three players will return from injury when the Northern Blues take on Williamstown in the VFL on Sunday.
But questions linger over Matthew Kreuzer who was a late withdrawal against the Tigers.
McKay says the ruckman has trained this week and his injured foot "was really good".
"It's pulled up well today and so that's very promising," McKay said.
"The plan is for him to train fully tomorrow and we're hoping he'll get through that. If that's the case he will be available for selection against Essendon."
Meanwhile Chris Judd had a solid session on the track on Tuesday and remains on target to return from his Achilles injury in Round 5 against the Western Bulldogs.

Judd (Achilles) - 2 weeks
Kreuzer (foot) - test
