Carlton captain Marc Murphy has been nominated for the AFL’s Lifebroker Mark of the Year for a courageous grab in Sunday’s win over St Kilda.

Murphy intercepted a kick from St Kilda’s David Armitage in the second quarter.

With eyes only for the ball he leapt for the mark, resulting in a heavy clash with St Kilda’s Trent Dennis-Lane.

Both players hit the turf – Murphy landing on his back with the ball still safe in his hands.

Vote for the skipper’s mark and you will go into the running for a weekly cash prize of $200 and the major cash prize of $5000 at the end of the season, thanks to Lifebroker.
