It’s a one in 150 year event not to be missed.
Every past and present Carlton player, along with Blues supporters, have been invited to gather for a night to commemorate our proud history and celebrate the Club’s 150th anniversary.
The Plenary at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre will play host to the black-tie event with all the glitz and glamour of the Oscars, which is set to take place on Saturday 14 June.
The spectacle will feature celebrity presenters who will take guests on a trip down memory lane, with a look back on Carlton’s memorable moments in time.
Homage will be paid to Carlton’s Best & Fairest winners, the Club’s leading goal kickers, the high flyers, the hard men, and of course, the 16 premierships that make Carlton the most successful club in the competition.
President Stephen Kernahan says Carlton’s 150th birthday will be a major event like no other in the Club’s history.
“We want to celebrate our rich history and the men who have shed blood, sweat and tears for the old dark navy blue jumper,” Kernahan said.
“We also want to pay tribute to our passionate members and supporters who have been there for the journey; those who have cheered the highs, suffered the lows, and stuck by us through every controversy and moment of magic along the way.
“This will be a truly special evening, and I hope to see you there.”
