Carlton has made three changes for Saturday’s MCG showdown with Essendon.
Brock McLean returns from a calf injury, while Dennis Armfield and Matthew Watson have earned a senior recall.
Nick Graham, Blaine Johnson and Nick Holman have all been omitted.
Holman, Johnson and Patrick Cripps have been named as the emergencies.
It means captain Marc Murphy will play after suffering concussion last weekend, while Chris Yarran has also been named after overcoming his bruised heel.
The Blues will wear their heritage guernsey for the match, which kicks off on Saturday at 1.45pm AEST.
