KADE Simpson, 31 disposals. Marc Murphy, 31 disposals. Ed Curnow, 30 disposals. Dale Thomas, 22 disposals.
The ‘old firm’ came up trumps for Carlton at the MCG on Saturday, putting in stellar individual performances in the 27-point victory over Adelaide.
It’s easy to say they wound back the clock, but - in truth - they’ve been doing it for a while.
Speaking post-match, Simpson said the quartet were lapping up Carlton’s renewed form as much as anyone.
“We tell the young guys to lift their act a bit,” a tongue-in-cheek Simpson said.

“We always soak it up as the veterans.
“We’re moving pretty well — when you’re winning, it’s always a lot easier.”
The last time the Blues beat the Crows, Simpson received the three Brownlow votes for a standout performance which saw him over collect 30 disposals and kick a goal.
While Patrick Cripps has the three votes all but sewn up this time around, Carlton’s warrior was once again influential across half-back, leading his team for metres gained.
In his 120th game at the home of football, Simpson was full of praise for the fanbase which was in full voice.
“It’s unbelievable,” he said.
“You hear the fans, they all came out hoping for a good result and they were loud.
“They’re enjoying it as much as we are as players.”
