“IT’S GOING to be special for us.”
Co-captain Patrick Cripps can’t wait to pull on the Navy Blue jumper once again — and he and his teammates will have extra reason in Round 4.
On Monday morning, Carlton launched its Back our ‘Baggers campaign, which will see the names of members adorned on the back of guernseys for three games across the season.
You’ve put us on your back: now, it’s time to return the favour. ??

With co-major partner Hyundai, we’re delighted to launch the Back our ‘Baggers campaign. #AllOfUs
Launching the jumper in front of media at Ikon Park, Cripps said the playing group were all aboard the idea, jumping on the opportunity to honour loyal members.
“It’s a good way to show that we’re all in this together,” Cripps said.
“I know some of the members, the kick they’ll get out of having their name on the back of the jumper will be pretty special for them.
“That’s the best way we can honour everyone.”
Cripps was full of credit for the Club and Hyundai, with the Blues to be the only club across the competition to adopt the member names on the back of guernseys.
He said it was indicative of the ‘All of Us’ mentality.
“Hyundai have done a really selfless thing: obviously they’re one of our major sponsors,” he said.
“What that sums up about Hyundai is sticking together and ‘All of Us’: some of our members have been through really tough times, not only in the last few years but recently.
“For them to still support us, I think it’s a great idea by the Club and Hyundai.”
Further information on how to apply will be announced in the coming weeks.
