Carlton speedster Chris Yarran has been nominated for the Origin AFL Goal of the Year for his sensational goal against Richmond at the MCG in round one.

Yarran burst past two Tigers opponents and then tip toed along the boundary to keep the ball in play. He sidestepped past another Richmond opponent and then balanced to kick a terrific goal.

Fans can now view and vote for their favourite goal out of the top three selections at www.afl.com.au/goal

Fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite goal based on the finalists. Voting will close on Monday 17 September. The winning Origin Goal of the Year will be announced at the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final match.
