The AFL has announced the Australian squad for next month’s International Rules match against Ireland in Perth.
The 24-man squad is made up exclusively of All Australian players, headlined by stars Patrick Dangerfield, Nat Fyfe, Luke Hodge, Jobe Watson and Steve Johnson.
No Carlton players are in the team, while Ireland will be without Carlton trio Zach Tuohy, Ciaran Sheehan and Ciaran Byrne, who have instead elected to focus on their pre-season with the Blues.
But there will still be plenty of blue on the field – Australia will wear a predominantly blue guernsey into the clash.
The match will be played at Patersons Stadium on Saturday 22 November.
