CARLTON CEO Cain Liddle has praised the generosity and show of unity from the Club’s record-breaking members.
Liddle wrote to the 67,000-strong Carlton membership base on Wednesday morning to provide an update on the COVID-19 situation.
He affirmed that members would be the first to know regarding the range of options related to their membership, as soon as the AFL had made a decision to how the season would progress.
This tough situation, which has impacted not only football but the entire community, has seen the Blues faithful showcase their caring, passionate and warm-hearted nature.
Nothing but praise from Teaguey to our great members and supporters and we couldn't agree more. ??#AllOfUs

“As difficult as these circumstances have been, the unity of our football club continues to shine through,” Liddle wrote in an email to members.
“Over 500 new members have signed up since it became known the season would be suspended, more than 100 existing members have purchased additional packages, and literally thousands of you have reached out to us pledging your ongoing support.
“We are overwhelmed by this support and equally grateful for the patience and understanding shown by all of our members as this situation continues to evolve.”
The Club will continue to keep its members updated as further information develops over this period.
In the meantime, the Club remains committed to keeping all Blues fans connected to their football club through engaging content on the Carlton website and social media on a daily basis.
