OVERVIEW
DARCY Vescio did everything possible to quell the naysayers questioning her value to the Carlton side in 2020.
Showing great versatility, the inaugural Blue moved away from her usual spot in the forward line, playing as a general all-rounder throughout the season.
It's a shame @darcyvee wasn't available for commentary today.

The 26-year-old’s athleticism allowed her to cover the ground well, providing teammates with a reliable option when transitioning out of defence.
Despite moving more up the ground, Vescio still caused opposition defenders concerns, kicking four goals and having 19 score involvements for the season.
BEST PERFORMANCE
Vescio was among a number of Blues who enjoyed one of their best outings against the 2019 premiers in Round 4 of the 2020 season.
In a performance that truly showcased her immense talent, Vescio would finish the day with a career-best 17 disposals, five marks and a goal helping the Blues to a season defining eight-point victory.
It was arguably a best-on-ground performance from Vescio, who combined the game-winning goal with the match-saving mark in defence.
SEASON HIGHLIGHT
While on the field Vescio continued to entertain the loyal Bluebaggers, it is also important to recognise her contribution to the Club and the entire sport away from the field.
In recognition of the Club’s third annual AFLW Pride game against the Western Bulldogs, Vescio took charge in leading the design of Carlton’s 2020 AFLW Pride guernsey.
Working closely with her teammates, the talented Vescio was able to produce a guernsey which helped raise integral funds for MINUS-18.
