WHAT a day it was.

After four unsuccessful attempts, the Game Changers celebrated their first win over Adelaide since the beginning of the competition: and they did it in style.

Coming back from an 18-point deficit in the second term, the Blues took the fight to the reigning premiers and came away with an eight-point win in enemy territory.

This is what the players had to say following the victory.

"I'm absolutely stoked with the way that the girls performed... The way that the League is structured, at the moment every game is like an elimination final. If we dropped today, we're back in the pack."

Tayla Harris

"I love when we travel because our team is such an amazing group, we all play for each other. In those last five minutes, we were actually dead and we only kept going because we wanted to celebrate with each other."

Madison Prespakis

"I wanted to come out here and do what I could for the team, as hard as I could and harder than ever. I did that today and every other player did as well."

Charlotte Wilson

"As a defender, there was definitely a bit of stress. As a defender, the game plan was to be composed and to trust in our plan. When we did that and supported each other, that’s what got us over the line at the end of the day."
