IMPRESSIVE young defender Charlotte Wilson will return for Carlton in Sunday’s Grand Final rematch.
After being a late out last week through illness, Wilson has been named as the Blues’ sole inclusion for the crunch clash with the Crows.
The 19-year-old has impressed all comers since her debut in 2019, playing seven consecutive games across two seasons before injury curtailed her run last week.
She has been included in place of Brooke Vernon, who replaced Wilson for her debut against the Western Bulldogs. Vernon is joined by fellow draftee Courtney Jones as the emergencies.
Wilson provided one of the Navy Blue highlights of last year’s Grand Final with her rundown tackle of Danielle Ponter.

The youngster is one of 18 Carlton players who featured in the 2019 decider to make the trip to South Australia.
The Blues’ midfield - which will be coming up against the returning Erin Phillips - will once again be led by the exciting young brigade of Grace Egan, Georgia Gee and Madison Prespakis.
Sunday’s game begins at 12:40pm local time (1:10pm AEDT).
