CARLTON co-captain Patrick Cripps will represent the All-Stars in the State of Origin Bushfire relief match.
The star midfielder has been named as Carlton’s representative in the in the one-off match between Victoria and the All-Stars to be held on Friday 28 February at Marvel Stadium.
Cripps joins a star-studded squad of 27 for the All-Stars, the Blues skipper set to line up alongside Geelong's Zach Tuohy, Fremantle's Nat Fyfe and many more with Sydney senior coach John Longmire taking the reins.
The All-Stars will have their work cut out for them at Marvel Stadium, with Richmond’s Damian Hardwick heading up Victoria with his own elite squad featuring the Western Bulldogs' Marcus Bontempelli, Geelong's Patrick Dangerfield and Richmond's Dustin Martin.
An event full of history and tradition, the game will mark the first time a State of Origin clash has been held at an AFL level since 2008 when Victoria took on the Dream Team. Carlton had three players feature in that game, with Jarrad Waite, Brendan Fevola and Chris Judd all pulled on the ‘Big V’.

The double header event at Marvel Stadium will see Collingwood vs Melbourne in an NAB AFL Women’s match followed by the State of Origin match.
