DANIEL Harford believes that taking the edge off before a big game is important for his side.
Today, that came in the form of a joint-training session with Carlton’s AFL side.
“We’ve got a big game tomorrow,” Harford said.
“To take the edge off that with a session like that is really important.”

The Blues face Collingwood on Sunday afternoon, a game that has become a big rivalry between the clubs.
After a good start to the season, Harford is hopeful that his side can repeat that performance and end with another win on the board.
“We’ve got to be really strong at the contest again like we were last Friday night,” he said.
“If we can replicate that, we’ll give ourselves a chance.”
Last week, Ikon Park held 15,000 people for the season opener against Richmond.
With another grudge match on the cards, an even bigger crowd could lift the girl’s momentum.
“It’s a great opportunity and we want all of our fans to come out and be involved and be a part of it,” he said.
“There was a great crowd last week, with 15,000 people and we’re expecting a better one tomorrow.”
