One player short of a clean sweep, there were six Blues to feature in the votes for their efforts against the newcomers at Ikon Park.
Breann Moody and Tayla Harris both collected votes, with Moody earning seven for her consistency in the ruck while Harris collected six for her heroics up forward.
Another performance which didn't go unnoticed was the impressive debut of Grace Egan, who earned three votes for her 11-disposal effort in her first official hitout in Navy Blue.
Charlotte Wilson and co-captain Katie Loynes rounded the list with one vote each.
Madison Prespakis sits at the top of the table after the opening round alongside the Western Bulldogs’ Ellie Blackburn, Melbourne’s Kate Hore and Collingwood’s Jaimee Lambert.
