IT’S GOING to be a classic rivalry with a different feel on Thursday 20 February.
Old enemies Carlton and Collingwood will meet at Ikon Park in a practice match beginning at 4pm.
With both teams to play their first Marsh Community Series games the following week, it gives both clubs a head-start on their preparations for season 2020.
The match will be open to all supporters wishing to watch on, with fans encouraged to make a gold coin donation: all proceeds will go directly to bushfire relief.
Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the devastating bushfire crisis that has impacted our communities.

Further details about entry times and gates will be announced closer to the date.
The hitout between the Blues and Pies will take place just four days after the two respective AFLW sides meet in Round 2 action.
Carlton will head to Mandurah on Saturday 29 February to take on Fremantle in its first Marsh Community Series game. The Blues will then host the Brisbane Lions at Ikon Park the following Sunday from 6:40pm.
