CARLTON will have four new AFLPA delegates heading into 2020.

Joining board member Ed Curnow as the Club’s AFL representatives, Jacob Weitering and Will Setterfield will take on greater responsibility heading into the new season.

They will be joined by Darcy Vescio and Nicola Stevens from the Game Changers.

Delegates perform the roles of active conduits between the playing group and the AFLPA.

Weitering and Setterfield become two of the youngest delegates across the AFL as they enter their fifth and fourth years in the competition respectively.

The AFL trio was at Marvel Stadium last week with Carlton’s 2019 draft class for the inaugural AFLPA Player Leadership and Induction Camp.

The camp allowed the first-year players to gain a greater understanding of the support on offer for players and to engage in active conversation with their more experienced colleagues.

At the other end of the scale to their AFL counterparts, Vescio and Stevens - taking the positions vacated by Kerryn Harrington and Alison Downie - become delegates as two of the more experienced heads among the AFLW playing group.

Vescio and Stevens gathered on Saturday for the inaugural AFLW Directors and Delegates Conference, with the competition’s key areas being the top of the agenda.

Stevens was inducted into the Club’s leadership group in December.
