OVERVIEW
Lachie Henderson was a consistent on-field contributor to the Blues in 2014.

Dubbed Carlton's "swingman", the 24-year-old continued to prove his ability to flourish at both ends of the ground.

Having finished third in Carlton's 2013 John Nicholls Medal count, the No.23 notched his 100th AFL game during Round 18's clash against North Melbourne.

A subsequent fracture to his face in Round 19, regrettably sidelined Henderson for five weeks, meaning he had to miss the remainder of the season.

However having made a full recovery, Blues' supporters can look forward to seeing more of him in the 2015 season.

HE SAID IT
"It's going well. I had it done just under two weeks ago and I'M back running this week so it's a minor procedure. I've stuck to the timeline so far. I might even get a couple of games in before (round one) so i'll be fine."

 - Lachie Henderson, speaking in the lead-up to round one.

THEY SAID IT
"Mick (Malthouse) put him through some real hard stuff (at training) this week before and he came through with flying colours so we're looking forward to having him back for round one."

- Carlton's director of coaching and development, Rob Wiley, speaking about Lachie Henderson's return from injury
