Back in the 1960s, the Balnarring home of the then Chairman of Selectors Jack Wrout was considered the idyllic post-season escape for the likes of Nicholls, Jesaulenko and Walls.
 
Thesedays, such locales as Vietnam, Munich and “The Big Apple”, where football is quite literally half a world away, serve as the preferred down-time destinations for the likes of Jamison, Henderson and Warnock.
 
And through the wonders of modern technology, the players have taken the liberty of texting their favourite holiday happy snaps, with Henderson getting into the spirit by donning the traditional knickerbockers and hat for the Oktoberfest.
