The 20-year-old former Swan joined the Blues during the 2014 trade period.
Dick will wear the jumper that was once worn by Tom Alvin and Ron Barassi.
Alvin played 218 games for Carlton during his decade long career, including the in the 1987 premiership.
Whilst Barassi caused football controversy when he departed the Demons in December 1964 to become captain-coach of Carlton.
His time with the Blues included two premierships, 1968 and 1970.
