As the entire playing group gets set for their pre-season camp on the Gold Coast, senior defender Michael Jamison says the positivity around the Club is really important for the young blues.
Senior coach Brendon Bolton along with his group of assistant coaches, continue to build a learning environment filled with enthusiasm – something all the players are benefitting from.
“I think especially with a young group it’s really necessary,” Jamison told Triple M on Friday morning.
“We’ve got 15 new faces this year who are all really young and impressionable, so I think for them to come into a footy club and hear that sort of enthusiasm is great for the culture we’re trying to build.”
As the Club continues to build towards its long-term goal for sustain success, the 29-year-old says supporters should be optimistic about Carlton’s future.
Blues supporters have rallied over the last few months with over 25,000 members signed on for the 2016 season, and Jamison says their support is felt throughout the entire football club.
“Especially after the season we’ve had, for them to jump on like they have and show that loyalty has been fantastic – it’s certainly felt within the footy club.”
