On Wednesday the team went through the weekly "Captain’s Run” with skipper Marc Murphy.
Murphy focused the session on getting players prepared for their first solid hit out next Friday, when they will take part in an intra-club match at the annual Carlton Family Day.
The drills today were mainly focused on skill execution and hitting targets.
The boys took the challenge in their stride, with the ball whizzing around Princes Park at a good speed.
Big man Mathew Kreuzer impressed in the short session, showing great signs that he is ready for a solid 2015 campaign.
The group then moved into separate line meetings between forwards, backs and midfielders, discussing the major points the playing group wants to achieve next week and looking ahead to the NAB challenge.
