Carlton ruckman Shaun Hampson has been nominated for the AFL Mark of the Year after his screamer against the Brisbane on Sunday afternoon.

Hampson, who has been in great form, jumped over teammate Lachie Henderson and two Lions players to take the ball fully stretched, landing on his feet.

In other great news for the Blues, Eddie Betts has been nominated for Goal of the Year for his brilliant evasive work in the first quarter against the Lions. Betts has so far kicked 20 goals in season 2011.
