A victory in a milestone game is important, not just for the player but for the team and club. On Sunday at Etihad Stadium Bryce Gibbs not only enjoyed his 100 game milestone with a victory but he also enjoyed another fantastic game.

A quick look at some of the lesser known facts about Bryce Gibbs and his 100 game milestone thanks to the work of Stephen Williamson, Carlton historian.

At 22 years and 88 days of age Bryce became the 3rd youngest player to reach this milestone with the Carlton Football Club.

Bryce has missed just one game since making his debut (round 5, 2008) equals the record held by Jim Francis who missed one game on his way to 100 appearances for Carlton between 1934 and 1939. Stephen Kernahan missed 2 and Craig Bradley 3.

He joined former Club Captains, Stephen Kernahan and Andrew McKay as 100 game players for Carlton who have been recruited from Glenelg
