Carlton’s strength and conditioning coach, Joel Hocking, has spoken exclusively to CFC TV about the Blues preseason training schedule.

The entire playing list has been making use of all areas of Carlton’s VISY Park facility, from bike sessions in the altitude room to a range of different aquatic activities in the Club’s hydro area.

“Aside from their main training sessions, we have also been doing 40min rotations of skills, bike, boxing and mobility,” he said.

“The mobility exercises are also something we have been dedicating a fair bit of time to this season.

“It is important for the players to keep stretching and moving as part of their recovery at this time of the year because their loads are so high.”
