Johns Lyng Group, which is constructing the redevelopment at Visy Park, has joined a number of organisations involved with the Carlton Football Club to make a significant donation to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
Johns Lyng Group together with Trump Floor Coverings have joined forces and will donate $1,000 per goal and $2,000 per supergoal for all goals kicked in this Friday’s NAB Cup match between Carlton and North Melbourne.
Importantly this donation is for goals kicked by both teams, the more goals scored on Friday night, the greater the donation to the Appeal.
Carlton CEO Greg Swann was pleased to announce this initiative by Johns Lyng Group and the continued support by so many in the community.
“The Carlton Football Club has developed a strong relationship with an outstanding group of key corporate organisations. It is wonderful that many of these, together with our big supporter base, have joined with Carlton to support the Bushfire Appeal.”
“This is a great initiative by Johns Lyng Group and Trump Floor Coverings. It will result in a significant donation to the Appeal and it ties into our game, once again displaying the spirit of the football community,” Swann said.
“We believe working together provides the best possible support and we understand the need for this support to continue, including ongoing visits by our players to the communities that have been affected by the bushfires,” added Swann.
