Carlton names community award winner
The Australian International Academy has been named recipient of Carlton’s inaugural Community Commitment Award.
Carlton CEO Greg Swann said the AIA had initiated a broad range of innovative football programs in partnership with the football club.
“The Carlton Football Club is proud to recognise the outstanding work that the AIA has made within the local community,” he said.
“It is a credit to all of those involved and we look forward to further strengthening our partnership in the future.”
AIA’s Head of Sport, Adam Nahal, said the school was grateful for the recognition.
“Our relationship with the Blues has been a most fruitful one and we are incredibly honoured to be associated with a club as prestigious as Carlton,” he said.
“We appreciate the recognition and look forward to further strengthening our partnership well into the future.”
