The Carlton Football Community Fund (Multicultural Program) and Monash University SEDA (Sports Education Development Australia) conducted a Multicultural Football Clinic at Visy Park on Wednesday.

200 Malaysian and Chinese students from the University, many of whom had never played or seen a game before, participated in the clinic.

The Carlton Football Community Fund has also invited these students and others from the University to attend Friday nights match at the MCG.

Carlton players Bryce Gibbs, Paul Bower, Sam Jacobs, Dennis Armfield, Dave Ellard, Aaron Joseph, Chris Yarran and Steven Browne ran the students through a variety of skills.

The Clinic was conducted to give an opportunity for many of the international/multicultural students the chance to experience Australian Football.

The clinic also promotes an active life style and informs them about this weeks green round that the Club is running in conjunction with its sustainability partner Visy.

Keep an eye out for the students at this week’s game.
