The Carlton Football Club in association with our official sustainability partner, Visy, encourage all Carlton supporters to get behind National Walk to Work Day (WTWD) on Friday October 3.
The annual event held around Australia promotes better health and a cleaner environment.
“We are encouraging our staff and our supporters to get healthy and shrink your carbon footprint by leaving the car at home on Walk to Work Day.” Carlton’s Environmental Officer Lyndall Down told carltonfc.com.au
Carlton’s administration will be participating in the event with staff set to walk all or some of the way to work, or during their work day.
