Young Carlton midfielder David Cuningham will play his first game of the season in Sunday's clash with Fremantle at Domain Stadium.
The 19-year-old, who played three senior games in his debut season last year, earned a promotion after a string of consistent performances for the Northern Blues in the VFL.
He replaces omitted defender Simon White in the only change to the team which suffered a 19-point loss to St Kilda on Saturday.
Fremantle has also made one change, regaining star midfielder Stephen Hill at the expense of youngster Darcy Tucker.
The Blues will head into Sunday's match with confidence, having won three of their past five games against Fremantle at Domain Stadium.
