49. Dennis Armfield
Stats: 20 disposals, 6 marks, 1 goal
From the coach: He continued to apply great pressure across the ground. He’s showing great leadership with younger players in driving standards, culture and structure, and he put in his best game of the year so far.

62. Blaine Boekhorst
Stats: 27 disposals, 11 handball receives, 6 clearances, 5 inside 50s
From the coach: He continues to build his game, having great involvement offensively with run-and-carry while also improving by the week defensively. He's putting together strong form.

7. Dylan Buckley
Stats: 21 disposals, 14 handball receives, 5 marks, 3 inside 50s
From the coach: I think ‘Bucks’ is really growing as a defender: he’s defending hard at the right times. On Sunday, his ball use was really good and his ability to scan his options and pick the right one was a feature.

16. David Cuningham
Stats: 21 disposals, 5 clearances, 3 inside 50s
From the coach: We thought his good stuff was very good: his power from stoppages and congestion as well as his ball use were highlights. We’d like to see more consistency from him in-game but he's putting together a solid string of performances.

56. Andrew Gallucci
Stats: 10 disposals (7 contested), 5 tackles
From the coach: Along with our other small forwards, he provided a ton of front-half pressure for us to get the ball back. He was creative around goals without getting full reward and worked hard. 

50. Daniel Gorringe
Stats: 12 disposals, 7 marks
From the coach: It was his second VFL game back, and we’d like him to get more game involvement. He works quite hard as a tall. His capacity to work up the ground and link up to the play was important and was highlighted with his seven marks. 

48. Kristian Jaksch
Stats: 17 disposals (10 contested), 5 marks, 5 goals
From the coach: He finished with five goals and provided us with both a lead-up and deep target playing as a forward. He showed an ability to apply pressure as well: he keeps building areas of his game. 

14. Liam Jones
Stats: 13 disposals, 8 marks, 5 tackles, 4 inside 50s, 3 rebounds 50s
From the coach: He played as a defender again and is reading it really well, both in terms of coming off his man to influence the contest and also using his strength and speed at ground level. His super form-line continues.

31. Patrick Kerr
Stats: 14 disposals, 5 marks, 3 inside 50s
From the coach: Patty worked tirelessly all day as a key forward leading at the leg and in the air, while his tackling was as good as we’ve seen from him. I think he’s coming along pretty nicely and he’s one Carlton supporters should be excited about.

72. Sam Kerridge
Stats: 28 disposals, 12 marks, 4 inside 50s, 4 clearances
From the coach: Workmanlike, ‘Kedge’: it was a really honest game from a player whose capacity to run and find the ball was really important for us. His form at VFL level for our club has been very consistent. 

80. Matthew Korcheck
Stats: 6 disposals, 3 marks, 26 hitouts
From the coach: He continues to show some encouraging signs. His ruck work has been terrific and he’s now getting into really dangerous spots on the ground and is able impact the game from a possession point of view. His progression has been pleasing and we’re expecting it to continue. 

51. Jed Lamb
Stats: 23 disposals, 9 marks, 7 handball receives, 6 tackles
From the coach: I thought his game was terrific. He set the tone early with his pressure and his ability to win the ball in traffic was important. I thought he was an important player on the day.

76. Kym Lebois
Stats: 6 disposals, 3 marks, 1 goal
From the coach: Kym’s first game back, and he showed some glimpses of why everyone’s excited to have him at the club. He was creative with ball in hand and applied good front-half pressure. It was an important first step for him.

34. Harrison Macreadie
Stats: 10 disposals, 4 marks
From the coach: Solid in our back group, Harrison plays our system really well and assesses his options. He uses the ball well and is an honest competitor who consistently gets the job done. He's progressing really nicely.

15. Andrew Phillips
Stats: 6 disposals, 2 marks, 43 hitouts
From the coach: His ruck work was strong. While we’d like him to impact more with his marking ability, we’re asking him to do a lot of ruck work and our midfielders are certainly enjoying roving to him.

42. Jarrod Pickett
Stats: 13 disposals, 8 marks, 4 inside 50s
From the coach: He played as a defender and showed some very good signs early, using his speed to both get back and influence offensively. He keeps adding layers to his game, and he’s another young one who we think Carlton supporters have a lot of reason to be excited about.

67. Cameron Polson
Stats: 20 disposals, 6 inside 50s, 4 clearances, 2 goals
From the coach: A bit slow in the first half to get going but he certainly got amongst it, was cleaner around stoppage and finished with two goals. He put together a pretty strong performance come the end of the game.

47. Ciaran Sheehan
Stats: 18 disposals, 5 marks, 6 handball receives
From the coach: He was really good — his form over the year has been strong and he’s positioning himself really well defensively, both on high balls and lead-ups. He’s always working really hard on his ball use to impact the match. There were some really good signs in his game. 

55. Liam Sumner
Stats: 14 disposals, 8 marks, 4 tackles, 3 goals
From the coach: It was probably his best game for the year, with his work ethic and pressure both standouts. He hit the scoreboard and had a hand in a lot of others as well. His AFL-quality traits came to the fore - it was a positive performance and one we're expecting he’ll build on.
