Calling all Bluebaggers!
The finalists for the NAB AFL Women’s Competition’s Woolworths Mark of the Year have been revealed and Carlton’s Darcy Vescio is in the running to take out the title.
Following the AFL’s announcement of the three best marks across the 2017 AFLW season, it’s up to fans to decide the most worthy and cast their votes to crown the winner.
The mark that has earnt Vescio her place in the top three, was taken in Carlton’s Round 5 match against the Western Bulldogs.
From inside the Blues’ goalsquare, the lively forward clunked the Sherrin from the back of the pack before booting the footy through for six points.
Vescio’s mark is in contention with the grabs of Adelaide co-captain Erin Phillips (Round 6) and Lion Tayla Harris (Round 2).
Fans will have until 11:59pm on Thursday 23 March to have their say on the inaugural season’s Mark of the Year, which will be revealed at the gala AFLW Awards on Tuesday 28 March.
