The Blues will welcome four new faces to their line-up for the Round 1 blockbuster clash at the MCG against Richmond on Thursday night.
Exciting youngsters Sam Petrevski-Seton and Jarrod Pickett have been named to make their AFL debuts on Thursday night, while Billie Smedts and Caleb Marchbank will wear the navy blue for the first time in the highly anticipated 2017 AFL season opener.
Captain Marc Murphy will lead his side out for the first time since Round 10 in 2016 after overcoming an ankle injury, while rising star Patrick Cripps will also run out for the blockbuster clash after an injury-interrupted pre-season campaign.
The Blues will open the 2017 AFL season tomorrow night against their traditional rivals, with the bounce at 7:20pm AEDT.
