The Blues are struggling to contain a rampaging Collingwood, with the black and whites leading by 36 points at the main break.
First Quarter
Carlton got off to a promising start, with three unanswered goals, thanks to Dale Thomas, Levi Casboult, Jarrod Garlett.
Unfortunately, the Pies retaliated, with four of their own to take the lead at the first break. Charlie Curnow ominous.
Second Quarter
There wasn’t much relief for the boys in navy blue in the second term, with the Pies managing another five in a row.
Vice-captain Patrick Cripps has been one of the most impressive for Carlton, contributing 14 disposals, and seven contested possessions.
Once again Ed Curnow has thrown himself into the game again, leading the Blues for tackles (five) and kicks (10).
It’s not the first half we wanted. Let’s hope they baggers can bounce back in the last two terms.
