CARLTON Football Club can confirm forward Levi Casboult will be monitored in Adelaide after sustaining a fractured rib during the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s game against Adelaide.
Head of Football Andrew McKay said the 28-year-old was expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks to provide time for the fracture to heal.
“Scans have also confirmed as a result of the fracture, Levi has sustained an injury to the lining of his lung,” McKay said.
“Levi will remain in Adelaide for monitoring over the coming days and while disappointing that this adds to our growing injury list, we understand that senior exposure will only benefit our younger players in the long-term.”
