KERRYN Harrington and Madison Prespakis have been acknowledged for their impressive individual performances yesterday.
Both Prespakis and Harrington received four votes in the AFLW Coaches Player of the Year Award for what they produced against Adelaide in Round 2.
The pair were Carlton’s major ball-winners on the day, registering 20 disposals apiece. Prespakis also hit the scoreboard with her first Carlton goal in the final term, while Harrington led the way with six marks in a strong defensive performance.

It was Prespakis’ combativeness around the ball which was the main feature, while Harrington’s ability to intercept and keep her side in the game in defence drew praise from coach Daniel Harford.
Prespakis backs up the solitary vote she received on debut against North Melbourne, while it’s the third time Harrington has received votes (Rounds 2 and 5 last season).
The AFLW Champion Player of the Year sees both coaches vote via a 5-4-3-2-1 format on each game.
