CARLTON midfielder Sam Walsh has been charged with misconduct by the Match Review Officer following Saturday’s game against Collingwood.
The incident occurred 21 minutes into the first quarter when Walsh made contact with Magpies midfielder Jordan De Goey at the centre bounce.
The 18-year-old has been handed a $1,500 fine, which can be reduced to $1,000 with an early plea.
He will be free to play when the Blues take on GWS this Sunday at GIANTS Stadium.
The Club has until 11am tomorrow to respond to the charge.
