CHEER and support as loud as you want, Bluebaggers - that is the message from club CEO Cain Liddle.
Recent commentary regarding security at AFL games has led Carlton members and supporters to express concerns to the Club regarding the level of scrutiny placed on them whilst sitting in the crowd during AFL games.
To address these concerns, Liddle reached out to Marvel Stadium CEO Michael Green.
“We wanted clarity around some of the issues our members and supporters had been experiencing when attending games this year,” Liddle said.
“To Michael’s credit, when I spoke with him he put his hand up and acknowledged there had been an imbalance with trying to provide a safe environment for fans at the football. He assured me that is something they are looking to correct.
“To be clear, our club will not tolerate abusive language, physical violence or vilification of any kind. Should you want to engage in such behaviour, simply stay at home because you are not welcome at the football – that has always been the case and always will be.
Teague shared his praise for the team and for all the 'Baggers cheering their hearts out.

“However, we will always stand behind our members and supporters who are there for the right reasons – to support their football team with Navy Blue passion and pride.
“The atmosphere at Carlton home games this year has been electrifying: Saturday night was a clear example of that. That atmosphere is what makes our great game and our great club so special.
“So our message to our members and supporters is simple – keep cheering, barracking and supporting as loud as you possibly can. Your support this season has been incredible, your passion undeniable and we look forward to seeing that go to another level for the rest of the year.”
