CARLTON will receive a backline boost for Saturday’s second chance clash with Gold Coast.
Jacob Weitering will make his return to the line-up after a week on the sidelines with a broken nose sustained in the Round 16 clash with Melbourne.
Weitering will replace new Blue Hugh Goddard, who is set to miss up to the next fortnight following a fractured cheekbone sustained in his club debut.
Weitering has been in close to career-best form before his injury, averaging 6.5 spoils and 7.3 intercept possessions so far this season.
Have a look at the mo on him.

The key defender starred when the two sides met earlier this season, collecting 20 disposals and nine one-percenters in an accomplished performance down back.
Levi Casboult has once again been named in the forward line for the clash at Marvel Stadium, after another impactful in attack following a strong spell in defence.
The Blues have named experience on-ball, with captain Patrick Cripps joining veteran Matthew Kreuzer and Marc Murphy.
Kreuzer is one of three players who didn’t feature when these sides last met in Round 4, joining Darcy Lang and the in-form Jack Silvagni.
Josh Deluca has been named among the emergencies, alongside Alex Fasolo, Andrew Phillips and Angus Schumacher.
